• To continue our topic of endangered animals from last class, today we are going to figure out and discuss the contribution of each animal we present to the planet and the ecosystems and debunk myths and stereotypes • Do a Google search of sharks, grizzly bears, elephants, bees, and spiders • What have you heard about them? What do you feel when you see it? • What are some fears you have? Are spiders scary or gross? Are you worried about bees stinging you?
• Search the internet for how these animals contribute to the planet and the ecosystem.
• Most people are afraid of spiders and kill them when they see them in their room, but spiders are actually really important for the planet because they balance the ecosystem and control the insect population, so think twice before you kill a spider in your room!
